DEFINE:
Oversee and manage the conversion and fit-out of a former Grade 2 listed museum in Cardiff Bay into small business units whilst integrating the building with the neighbouring premises and reception area.
DESIGN:
Following appointment of contractors by the architect: planned requirements of Business Centre, planned physical and operational links with existing building next door, including security systems. Procured additional fit-out work, appointed staff and marketed premises for letting.
DELIVER:
Work completed within budget, despite flooding in Cardiff Bay which significantly impacted on the basement. Despite the flooding, project completed on schedule and in time for official opening of the building. At the time of opening, tenants had already been secured for 30% of the letting space.
